There are a couple of "those" kinds of houses around the corner from us, and we decided to take a walk in the freezing-for-LA night air tonight to see them. N stood in front of this house for ages--all the while quietly, unselfconsciously dancing to the music.
He makes me smile.

I LOVE seeing little kids not be to self-conscious to dance when the mood hits them!
In NY, we'd go to my aunt's house two towns over every year for Hanukah, and at some point in the night we'd pile into two or three cars and go see the Christmas lights in the neighborhood (though we never got out of the car). The two best houses sandwiched a temple of all things. Supposedly when the people moved in they went to the temple and ASKED if they'd be okay with the decorating and the temple was all "Merry Christmas!" about it.
AND that is the way this whole country should be... kind and friendly and understanding.
That's adorable!
Oh my god! He's freakin' adorable!! Save this video FOREVER!!!
THAT brought a smile to my face and tear to my eye...lovely video
Love it!! :-)
Oh Green... that has to be Plainview over near the Pasadena school, right?
LOL, maybe not. But those two houses near the orthodox shul wonderfully and amazingly overdo it.
The very funniest thing is to see Christmas lights in our complex while it is 85 degrees outside. It just never feels like Christmas. I miss snow and cold.... WAAAAAAAAA
You go N...
Amy, yes! Um ... hi, do we know each other? Want to play Jewish Geography? :)
Green - Doubt we know each other... I grew up in Plainview, belonged to Manetto Hill Jewish Center (if we are doing Jewish geography... LOL) and graduated HS in 1984 (yup, I am getting old)
